When talking with your kids about their day, consi When talking with your kids about their day, consider asking more specific questions.

When we ask open-ended questions, some children will offer a one-word answer. If you make more specific questions your starting point, they are more likely to share and expand on their responses. Every time you ask a question, consider if there is a way to be more specific.

When I work 1:1 with a parent, the first thing I a When I work 1:1 with a parent, the first thing I ask them to do is a parenting audit. We take stock of everything, what’s working and what’s not.

As parents, it’s really easy to get stuck in the weeds of the day-to-day stuff that we lose perspective of the bigger picture.

When we want to improve something, we first need to understand it in a larger context. When we pull the lens back, we can better understand where the wins are and where we could use the help.

I created something specifically for moms, who are I created something specifically for moms, who are overwhelmed, exhausted, and burnt out 😓. They need support, guidance and tangible solutions to their parenting questions.

I am opening group coaching spots in June. I want to reach as many parents as possible, and I know 1:1 coaching isn’t always accessible to everyone due to time or cost.

How it works: 👇

The group/groups consist of 8 people

It lasts one month and includes 4 (1-hour) calls over zoom once a week.

The calls will be causal and informal, welcoming questions and promising helpful answers.

What we tackle: 💪

Sleep challenges 💤
Difficult behaviors
Getting kids to 👂…without 45 reminders 😩
Yelling and parenting reactively 🤬
Tantrums
Sibling battles
Screen time challenges 📱
Building healthier habits
How to let go
Understanding what your child is communicating with their behavior

What you’ll gain 🌅

Parent with confidence and ease
Learn simple shifts to raise kindhearted and joyful humans
Better understand and connect with your kids
A safe space to ask questions
How to prioritize yourself and your wants and needs..without feeling guilty

When I work with parents, they always beat themselves up about not doing something right or struggling to remain consistent.

Parenting is a process. Give yourself grace and know you didn’t set yourself back. Let go of self-blame. 🙏🙏🙏

There is a lot of judgment and noise around parent There is a lot of judgment and noise around parenting making parents question everything they’re doing.

When I work 1:1 with parents, they will describe something they’re doing, fearfully saying, “I know you’re going to tell us this is wrong.”

I smile because I don’t consider things right or wrong. Instead, I ask, “Is it working?” If it works, then it’s not wrong.

What works for one family or child might not work for another. When coaching parents, I want to help them quiet the noise and consider what works in their household.

The more specific and concrete you can be, the bet The more specific and concrete you can be, the better. Saying something like, don’t whine or don’t talk like that, is not clear.

Try to remain calm and validate their feelings and ask them to use a different tone of voice.

You can also demonstrate two different tones of voice for them and ask them which one sounds kinder.
